Our Ministry
We are a community of diverse people coming together in service and hospitality, offering and receiving care and compassion. Being a small but active community church allows us to serve, pray, and worship together, embracing our differences and discovering acceptance in the process. Our weekly worship service accepts everyone equally, respecting each individual and their contribution to the worship celebration. Additionally, we offer study, fellowship, and social gatherings that meet throughout the week to nurture our faith, deepen our relationships, enjoy each others' company, and encourage us to serve others in the church and community. Our Friday Night on College program for the community and homeless favors preparing and sharing food much like a family meal, imparting a warmth and friendliness to the dinner guests. Sunday Worship Our worship service is at 10:30 a.m. Sunday morning with a pre-worship centering prayer beginning at 10:15 a.m. Worship consists of songs (both contemporary and traditional) and Biblically based messages. We are an active community church that welcomes diversity, respecting each individual and their contribution to the worship celebration. We celebrate Communion on the first Sunday of each month. Childcare is provided. The teaching pastor is Rev. Monte McClain. . 9:15 am Christian education for all ages Study and Fellowship Gatherings: Adult Christian Education Youth Christian Education Bible Study and Fellowship Women's Prayer Fellowship Friday Night on College |
